2024 Safe Street Halloween Sign Up

Event Details
The City of Northglenn Police Department started Safe Street Halloween as a way to give back to the kids of Northglenn, so that they can have a safe Trick-or-Treat alternative during the weeks leading up to Halloween.

In just three hours over 5,000 kids and their parents weave through a Halloween tour of fun. Join the celebration to build name recognition, promote your business and have fun!

Get ready for a night of spellbinding fun! The 2024 event will have a Hocus Pocus theme. Expect costumed characters, spooky decorations, and plenty of treats. You can use that theme OR pick something else for your car-decorations.

Trunk-or-Treat

FREE for businesses, organizations, teams and residents to participate! We are looking for community groups and businesses to decorate their trunk or tailgates and provide them as stopping points for candy distribution along our path of fun! It is free to be part of the Trunk-or-Treat fun! You do need to bring a vehicle, decorations and candy or give a ways.

Logistics

Since this is an event planned and produced by the Northglenn Police Department to give kids a safe alternative to trick-or-treating we ask that you are not overtly "sales" focused and rather focus your attention on giving out candy or small gifts (like stickers or small toys) or have a quick, easy game as kids pass by and that your secondary approach is on marketing your business, if you choose. Attendees of the event will pass by your location quickly so it is just a touch point with the kids and their guardians.

Set Up for Trunk-Or-Treat: Saturday, October 19, approximately 1:30 - 3:30 PM; event opens at 4pm.
Final details and information will be emailed to all participants closer to the event.
